Pastor Nick Quinnett

Pastor Nicholas Anthony Quinnett is the oldest of three children born to Mark and Lori Quinnett. He was born in Torrance, California and lived there ten years. He then moved to Madison, Alabama for three years before moving to Colwich, Kansas where his parents still live. He went to Luther Preparatory School for high school where he met his wife Monica. They both have fond memories of worshiping at St. John’s during their time at Prep. Pastor Quinnett graduated in 2011 and Monica in 2012. He and Monica both went on to Martin Luther College they both graduated in 2016. Monica graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education.

Pastor Quinnett and Monica have one daughter and are expecting a boy due on September 27th. Their daughter Eva was born on Pastor Quinnett and Monica’s 3rd anniversary.

During his time at the Seminary, Pastor Quinnett worked as a janitor at a local WELS congregation. He vicared at St. John’s in Minneapolis. During his senior year he was the senior assistant for Christ Alone and St. John’s Mequon. His wife Monica taught at Christ Alone (formerly Calvary) in Thiensville. The three years she was there she taught various subjects in grades 3 through 8. She taught 4k at St. John's for a year but now is staying home with their children.

In his free time Pastor Quinnett likes to hunt and fish. He is an avid gardener and loves to spend time with his family. His wife Monica loves being with their children Eva, August, and Vivian. She loves crafting, sewing, and playing piano.
