Mrs. Rebekah Fischer

Christian education has always been important to me. I attended my first Lutheran grade school from grades 5-8 in Bellevue, WA, where my dad served as a pastor. I attended Martin Luther Prep School (now Luther Prep School) graduating in 1981. My Christian education continued at Dr. martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN and I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in elementary education in 1985. I used my teaching skills as a substitute teacher.

I am married to Doran Fischer, a former WELS teacher. We have been blessed with four daughters, three sons-in-law, and two grandsons. Two of our daughters are currently servicing as WELS teachers.

Besides teaching young toddlers, I also play organ for St. John’s, sing in the Mixed Choir, and serve on the congregation’s Personnel Committee. Other hobbies include playing piano, reading, and crocheting.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified and do no the overwhelmed, because the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
