Mrs. Janet Hathaway

Mrs. Janet Hathaway is currently serving as our seventh and eighth-grade teacher. She is a 1982 graduate of Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota.

Mrs. Hathaway first taught grades 3-5 at Emmanuel, Yale, Michigan. From 1984 to the present she has served at St. John’s in a variety of teaching capacities in grades 3-8. Previously she served as a coach for volleyball, basketball, and softball and as an interim athletic director. Besides her current duties with the seventh and eighth grades, Mrs. Hathaway teaches departmentalized science and art for grades 5-8 as well as serving as the Junior Choir director.

A mother of three and grandmother of four, Mrs. Hathaway and her husband live on a small farm outside of Watertown.
