Mr. Armin Schwartz

This year again I have the privilege of teaching part-time at St. John's Lutheran in Watertown. I especially look forward to sharing the gospel message during Catechism class with the fifth and six graders. Likewise I look forward to teaching life-time skills in physical education classes.

Besides teaching for just a couple of years in public schools in La Crosse, WI and Fort Madison, IA, the Lord has called me to teach in the WELS for the rest of my 35 years of teaching ministry. Places that I have served are Northwestern Prep School (now Luther Prep School), Martin Luther Academy, Martin Luther Prep School, St. John Lutheran, Waterloo, and other Lutheran grade schools in the area in emergency situations or as part-time teacher. They include Holy Cross, Madison, St. Paul's, Fort Atkinson, and St. Paul's, Ixonia. Likewise I have been a substitute teacher in nearly every school in the BLAC conference.

I have been blessed to be married to my wonderful wife, Linda, having four sons with their wives and 10 grandchildren. My oldest granddaughter from Florida will be the fifth generation of our family attending school on the LPS,campus.

Besides teaching I referee football, wrestling and basketball. I like gardening, playing tennis and softball. bike hiking and attempt to play golf at least once a month in Wisconsin. Lakeside Lutheran High School sometimes also calls me to be a substitute bus driver.

I am again this year looking forward to working with the dedicated faculty at St. John's.

I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39, EHV)
