Sunday School Has Started!

Your children are invited and encouraged (parents too) to attend our Sunday morning classes to enrich our contact with God’s Word. We can never get enough of it. Classes run from 9:10 - 10:10 am.

3 year old pre-school through 2nd grade meet in the church basement by the middle tables. 3rd and 4th graders meet in a separate room in the church basement as marked, as well as 5th and 6th graders. Darlene Schultz is teaching 3-4 and Mark Zuehlke is teaching 5-6. Karen Sherry and Kris Lamp are teaching Pre-3 - 2nd grade. 7th and 8th graders are meeting in the 7/8th grade room on the top floor at school, taught by Nicole Soter.

There is no cost to attend but the children do bring Sunday School offerings each week to be given to a mission of their choice. Classes began last Sunday will continue through May 16, 2010, with a few Sundays off around Christmas and Easter. We are suing new "Growing in Christ" materials this year, so it is not the same as school materials.

Parents can attend the adult Bible study in the cafeteria and the high school teens also have their own class with Pastor Rod Warnecke. There is a nursery for children under Sunday School age but you need to register your child ahead of time for this. If you have any questions, call Pastor Warnecke. Coffee and delicious donuts are served from 8:45 –9:10 in the cafeteria.

Come to class and then a go to church, or, go to church and come for class. Enjoy God’s Word of truth and promise while we can with the opportunities provided. See you on Sundays!
