Lutheran Girl Pioneers - Caravan #281
What is Lutheran Girl Pioneers
Lutheran Girl Pioneers encourages girls and leaders to do all things according to God's Word and out of love and respect for God. LGP offers opportunities for fellowship and encourages service to family, church and community. LGP strives to center all of its activities in the teachings of the Holy Bible.
Our Purpose
Provide supervised and constructive recreation preparing Lutheran Girl Pioneers in the way of good citizenship with their motto, "Loyal to Christ," ever before them.
Girl Pioneers
Meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:30 - 8:00 pm in the Chruch Basement
Please use the 6th street entrance.
We ask that parents be promt in picking up the girls. (If someone other than the parents is taking the girls hpme please let us know who they should be leaving with)
Grades 1 & 2 are Sunbeams
Grades 3 & 4 are Travelers
Grades 5 & 6 are Trailblazers
Grades 7 & 8 are Homesteaders
Rock River Valley District 12
The National group of Lutheran Girl Pioneers is divided into districts. The district that we are a member of is Rock River Valley District 12.
The other congregations included in this district are St. Matthew's Janesville, WI, St. Luke's, Watertown, WI, St. Mark's, Watertown, St. Matthew's, Oconomowoc, WI, St. Paul's, Fort Atkinson, WI, Zion Lutheran, Hartland, WI, Trinity Lutheran, Watertown, WI, Peace Lutheran, Loves Park, IL, St Paul's, Ixonia, WI, Peach Lutheran, Sun Prairie, WI
By being members of a District and participating in District functions our Girls get the opportunity to enjoy fellowship with other WELS Lutheran girls from the area. This also helps to develop comunication skills and understanding of our Synod. Friendships formed by these girls have been known to last a lifetime.
