Mr. Chris Mueller

Chris Mueller considers it a privilege to serve as school principal and childcare administrator at St. John’s Lutheran in Watertown, WI. At the end of the current school year Chris has successfully completed 15 full-time years of service in Lutheran elementary schools. 

Chris graduated from Martin Luther College in 2007 and received his first call to serve at Christ Lutheran in Eagle River, WI. While serving for seven years at Christ Lutheran he was the principal and full-time upper grade teacher. In 2012 Chris accepted the call to serve as principal, teacher, and athletic director at St. John's in Watertown. Over the course of time at St. John's Chris' responsibilities have transitioned more to administrative due to the blessing of growth of the school and childcare center. Throughout his time at Christ in Eagle River and St. John's in Watertown Chris continued his education in the Masters Program through Martin Luther College, and in 2016 received his Masters of Science in Education with an emphasis on educational leadership.

In July of 2011 Chris was extremely blessed to be united in marriage to a wonderful Christian woman named Rebekah. Rebekah graduated from Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN with an emphasis in church music. She has used her gifts by teaching piano to children in the school. Chris and Rebekah have five beautiful children named Emmaline, Lydia, Abigail, Christopher Jr., and Samuel. 

Chris enjoys spending time with his family, studying God’s word and sharing it with his kids, hunting and spending time outdoors, and doing house projects. He greatly appreciates the privilege and blessing of providing Christian leadership and sharing the saving message of God’s Word with the children and families at St. John’s.
