It’s All a Matter of Perspective - November Observer Message

Thank you, Lord, for my enemies, because through them you show me how great a friend you are.

Thank you, Lord, for my problems, because through them you show me how much I need you.

Thank you, Lord, for the cold weather, because through it you teach me how you warmed my cold, dead heart of stone and replaced it with a heart of flesh, full of love for you and my neighbors.

Thank you, Lord, for my pain, because through it you remind me of the pain you suffered which set me free.

Thank you, Lord, for roadblocks, because through them you require me to use all my gifts.

Thank you, Lord, for the times I’ve been in need, because through them you’ve proven that you’re the one who supplies me.

Thank you, Lord, for persecutions, because through them you show me what really matters.

Thank you, Lord, for the busy times, because through them you teach me to find rest in you alone.

Thank you, Lord, for the rain, because through it you bring out the green to shade me from the heat of the sun.

Thank you, Lord for the snow, because through it you show me how clean I am in your sight.

Thank you, Lord, for teaching me the secret of being content in any and every situation: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
