As a family united in faith by the Holy Spirit, we exist to worship and praise the Triune God, to be nurtured through His Word and Sacraments, and to share His love in Christ with others.
Sunday School classes meet from the Sunday after Labor Day through May until the Sunday before Memorial Day weekend. Classes for children age three through 6th Grade are held in the church basement.
Because of its importance, all of our children attending public school are expected to attend Sunday School prior to their years in the Confirmation Class, grades 6-8. This gives them the opportunity to learn Bible stories and begin memory work. Parochial day school children are also encouraged to attend.
The 2013-2014 Sunday School Staff is:
- Preschool (3-4 yr. olds) – Kris Lamp
- Kindergarten – 2nd Grade - Karen Sherry
- Grades 3-4 - Johanna Fischer
- Grades 5-6 – Emily Hirsch
We thank all those who serve as teacher helpers throughout the school year.
Sunday School offering envelopes are provided for our children. This year (2014-2015) our offerings will go to one home mission and or one foreign mission, to be decided. We thank the children along with their parents in remembering to bring your offerings for us to assist these missions. Last year our offerings were sent to the Watertown Recreation and Outreach Center for Youth (The ROC) and the WELS Watertown Spanish Language Outreach Effort.
